unable to find the tar installer database file (/etc/vmware-tools/locations)
出现这个问题的主要原因是你之前安装失败或者强行终止导致的
解决方案
进入etc目录删除vmware-tools
删除命令：rm -rf vmware-tools
接下来进入到tmp目录，删除以小写vm开头的所有东西
rm -rf /tmp vm*
